## Introduction

Ittybit Storage allows you to store media files in a secure and scalable way.

All files are encrypted at rest and automatically backed up across multiple providers.

  Using Storage is optional. Ittybit APIs also work with any existing object storage.

## Delivery and Access

Files in Storage are automatically backed by a global CDN, meaning [Delivery](/docs/delivery) is fast (and affordable) wherever your app's users live.

You can use [Access Rules](/docs/delivery/rules) to make files private and to control who can access your files.
